Authentication/authorization error
Receiving the “Invalid Account” or “Authentication Failed” error can only be caused by three possible reasons:
- Incorrect server selection
- When connecting your account to MetaTrader, please ensure you select the correct server:
- For Demo accounts: select AronMarkets-Demo
- For Real or Prop accounts: select AronMarkets-MT5
- Incorrect account number
- You can verify your account number in the “Accounts” > “Account Overview” section of your client portal.
- Incorrect account password
- Please be careful when entering your password. We recommend entering it manually (avoid copy-pasting). Pay attention to uppercase and lowercase letters.
- If you still receive the error, reset your password and try again using the new password.
