How to close an active trade on a computer

Dear User,

To close an active trade in MetaTrader on your computer:

1. Go to the Toolbox section at the bottom of MetaTrader and open the Trade tab (as shown in the image).
2. Click on the Close Trade button for the position you want to close.
3. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Select Close #…. to confirm the closure.

Note: If you are using instant execution, the second dialog box will not appear, and the trade will be closed immediately once you click the Close Trade button, as the order will be executed directly by the server.
