Yes, all of our bed frames are specifically designed for heavy-duty use and are fully suitable for adults. We’ve been manufacturing our own beds here in the UK since 2012, and with over a decade of experience, we've developed and refined our designs to make them some of the strongest on the market.

Unlike many imported models that prioritise low cost over durability, we’ve engineered our beds with enhanced features to ensure long-term strength:

Solid Pine Construction – We use high-quality, sustainably sourced Scandinavian pine—not cheap MDF or chipboard. This gives the frame natural strength and durability.  Reinforced Slats and Side Rails – Our slats are thicker than industry standard and are securely screwed into reinforced side rails—never just stapled. This provides a rock-solid base, further strengthened with central support legs on wider models.

Weight Capacity – Each bed is tested to safely support up to 40 stone (254kg) in total weight, making them ideal for adults, teenagers, and even commercial use.

That said, it’s important to understand that no furniture is indestructible. While our beds are built to last, misuse—such as jumping or rough play—can cause damage. For example, a 3-stone child jumping on the bed can put more sudden stress on the frame than an adult lying still. Like any product, responsible use is key to longevity.
